At NCCOP, Mandated Reporter Training (MRT) is required for all Ministry volunteers. The training helps you recognize signs of abuse and neglect, and gives you insight to behavior indicators that things are not right. For anyone going through such trauma, a caring, supportive, intuitive adult is a lifeline, and possibly a life saver.  The training also provides information on how to report abuse.

Currently, the Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance (PFSA) provides the training free of charge and virtually. The trainings are three hours and must be attended in their entirety to receive certification and credits. Click this link, https://pafsa.org/mandated-reporter-training/, which will take you to the PFSA Mandated Reporter Training page. 

Scroll down to where it says "Click here to register for live training . . ." and choose a date and time that works for you to register. (There is a short questionnaire to answer needed for the training.)
